Location:

Odessa, TX & Hobbs, NM area (Home Health visits)

Work Experience:

Valid PTA license from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (or NM equivalent).
Experience in home health, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in executing therapeutic exercise programs and treatment modalities.

  • Strong clinical skills in patient care and monitoring progress.

  • Compassionate communication with patients and their families.

  • Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.

  • Knowledge of safety, ethical, and legal standards in physical therapy practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes.

  • Implement treatment plans involving therapeutic exercise, gait training, ADL training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, wound care, and more.

  • Accurately measure patient progress (e.g., goniometry) and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

  • Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe environment.

  • Educate patients and family members on treatment procedures and home exercise programs.

  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the patient’s record.

  • Respond appropriately to changes in a patient’s condition.

  • Collaborate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members.
