Location:

Odessa, TX & Hobbs, NM area (Home Health visits)

Work Experience:

Valid PTA license from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy Examiners (or NM equivalent).
Experience in home health, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Key Skills:

Expertise in executing therapeutic exercise programs and treatment modalities.
Strong clinical skills in patient care and monitoring progress.
Compassionate communication with patients and their families.
Ability to work independently under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
Knowledge of safety, ethical, and legal standards in physical therapy practice.

Responsibilities:

Provide prescribed physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes.
Implement treatment plans involving therapeutic exercise, gait training, ADL training, ultrasound, electrical stimulation, wound care, and more.
Accurately measure patient progress (e.g., goniometry) and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.
Prepare treatment areas and equipment, ensuring a safe environment.
Educate patients and family members on treatment procedures and home exercise programs.
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the patient’s record.
Respond appropriately to changes in a patient’s condition.
Collaborate effectively with the supervising Physical Therapist and other healthcare team members.
